Overview

BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS BRAND

In today’s competitive world of design, communicating our point of difference is essential.

Creating a compelling brand story enables us to connect with the right type of client, allowing them to understand our values, trust in our abilities, and ultimately invest in our services.

Introducing the Melbourne Design Conference, where the art of branding meets the world of design. Over four immersive days, we invite designers and architects to explore methods of building and enhancing brand identities within the design industry.

Located at The Prince Hotel in St Kilda, our delegates have the option to stay inhouse at The Prince, or purely join us for the program events, including exquisite dinners and cocktails at some of Melbourne’s most prestigious restaurants.

This promises to be a transformative journey towards building your own distinctive and impactful business brand. Unlock your creativity, expand your horizons, and pave the way for a future defined by innovation and authenticity.

Sarah-Jane

Sarah-Jane Pyke

PRINCIPAL, ARENT & PYKE
BACHELOR OF INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE, UNSW

With over 20 years of professional design experience, Sarah- Jane understands the necessity for interiors to be authentically mindful of place and those who inhabit them. Her concepts are clever, not tricky, and her meticulous approach to carving space is underpinned by a sensual elegance that enhances volume and natural light. Sarah-Jane’s design outcomes are beautifully sumptuous given their focus upon tactile elements.

Playing to an organic order, her appreciation for true craftmanship is evident in her innovative approach to enhancing the natural power of expressive stone and timber varieties in her intricately detailed custom creations. Possessing an eye for unexpected pairings – most notably manifesting in engaging curations of artworks with prized objects and furnishings – her work translates into equal parts fresh, visceral and functional, above all else sparking enquiry and eliciting delight.

As a highly respected innovator amongst the design community, Sarah-Jane contributes more broadly to the profession through her active roles as the Design Institute of Australia’s NSW Chair. She also sits on advisory panels plus award juries, and regularly speaks at industry events.
