TDC Member Rewards
Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to TDC Member Rewards, the loyalty program operated by The Design Coach.
By participating in TDC Member Rewards, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Program Overview
TDC Member Rewards has been created to thank members for their ongoing investment in TDC, their business growth and the TDC community.
Members earn Reward Points when they make purchases with The Design Coach from the official launch date of the program.
Reward Points can be used towards selected future TDC services, programs and learning opportunities, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Earning Reward Points
Members earn 5 Reward Points for every $100 spent with TDC.
Each Reward Point is equal to $1 when redeemed towards eligible TDC services, programs or learning opportunities.
Reward Points can only be used towards future purchases and cannot be redeemed as cash.
Reward Points are calculated on the amount paid to TDC, excluding any merchant fees, payment processing fees, refunded amounts or cancelled purchases.
Reward Points are earned on purchases made from the official launch date of the program. Purchases made before the launch date do not qualify for Reward Points.
3. When Reward Points Are Issued
Reward Points will be added to a member’s rewards balance once payment has been received officially by TDC (clearance of funds into the bank).
For purchases involving a payment plan, Reward Points will be issued progressively as each instalment is received.
Reward Points earned from a purchase, including points earned via a payment plan, can’t be used towards that same purchase.
Points are issued once payment has been received and can only be used towards eligible future purchases.
Reward Points won’t be issued on unpaid invoices, overdue payments, cancelled purchases or refunded purchases.
If a purchase is refunded, cancelled or reversed after Reward Points have been issued, TDC may adjust the member’s rewards balance accordingly.
4. Using Reward Points
Reward Points can be used once a member has reached the minimum redemption balance.
The minimum redemption balance is 100 Reward Points.
100 Reward Points equals $100 towards eligible future TDC services, programs or learning opportunities.
Reward Points can be used towards future purchases only. They can’t be applied retrospectively to invoices already issued, paid or completed, unless otherwise agreed by TDC.
Reward Points can’t be exchanged for cash, refunded, transferred, sold or assigned to another person or business.
5. Standard Rewards Members
Standard Rewards members may use Reward Points towards selected TDC coaching and learning opportunities, including:

Standard Rewards members can’t use Reward Points towards retreats, design trips, or events unless TDC offers a special redemption opportunity.
6. Platinum Rewards Members
Members who spend $10,000 or more with TDC in a calendar year may qualify for Platinum Rewards.
For purchases made via a payment plan, Platinum Rewards status is reached once the total instalment payments reaches $10,000 or more.
Platinum Rewards members may use Reward Points more broadly across TDC services, programs, events and experiences, subject to availability and any specific program conditions.

Workshops and/or Masterclasses

Events

Retreats

Design Trips
Platinum Rewards status applies for the remainder of the calendar year in which the member qualifies, and the following calendar year.
TDC may set additional terms for the use of Reward Points towards retreats, design trips, events or experiences, particularly where third-party costs, supplier costs, accommodation, travel, venue fees or limited capacity are involved.
7. Special Redemption Opportunities
From time to time, TDC may offer special opportunities for members to use Reward Points in different ways.
These offers may be limited by date, program, availability, member level or other conditions.
Special redemption opportunities are offered at TDC’s discretion and may be changed, paused or withdrawn at any time.
8. Expiry of Reward Points
Reward Points are valid for 24 months from the date they’re issued.
Any unused Reward Points will expire after this period.
TDC will make reasonable efforts to notify members before Reward Points expire, but it remains the member’s responsibility to keep track of their rewards balance and expiry dates.
9. Reward Points and Discounts
Reward Points generally can’t be used in conjunction with other discounts, promotional codes, referral discounts, early payment discounts or special offers, unless otherwise stated by TDC.
TDC may choose to allow Reward Points to be used with a specific promotion at its discretion.
10. Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers
If a member cancels a purchase, withdraws from a program or receives a refund, any Reward Points earned from that purchase may be cancelled or deducted from their rewards balance.
If Reward Points have already been used and the original purchase is later refunded or cancelled, TDC may deduct the equivalent value from the refund or future rewards balance.
Reward Points aren’t transferable between members, businesses, studios or accounts unless otherwise agreed by TDC.
11. Program Changes
TDC may update, amend, pause or withdraw TDC Member Rewards at any time.
Where possible, TDC will provide reasonable notice of significant changes, particularly changes that affect how members earn or use Reward Points.
If the program is withdrawn, TDC may provide members with a reasonable period to use any remaining Reward Points before they expire.
12. Errors and Adjustments
TDC may correct errors in Reward Points balances, earning calculations, redemption values or member status at any time.
If Reward Points have been issued incorrectly, TDC may adjust the member’s balance to reflect the correct amount.
13. No Cash Value
Reward Points have no cash value and don’t create a cash account, credit facility or stored monetary balance.
Reward Points can only be used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
14. Member Responsibility
Members are responsible for ensuring their contact details are up to date so they can receive communications about their Reward Points, expiry dates and member status.
TDC isn’t responsible for missed communications due to incorrect, outdated or inaccessible contact details.
15. Contact
For questions about TDC Member Rewards, Reward Points balances or redemption options, members can contact TDC directly.
16. Your Privacy
By joining TDC Member Rewards, you agree that TDC may collect and use your personal information to manage your Rewards membership, track your Reward Points, communicate with you about the program, and provide a more personalised member experience.
This may include your name, email address, business name, location, phone number, birthday (day and month only), areas of interest, TDC purchase history, Reward Points balance and membership level.
We may use this information to send you points updates, expiry reminders, redemption opportunities, member offers, birthday messages and relevant Rewards Program communications.
You can unsubscribe from general marketing emails at any time, although we may still send important service-based communications about your Rewards membership.
We won’t sell your personal information or share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
